Stone Rivers are a series of feature wall
sculptures. The walls in the series vary in size and scale, from solid permanent installations to portable pieces. The process of assembling individual stone pieces into rivers of colours and shapes depicting a myriad of features and landscapes can take anywhere between 4-12 weeks, depending on the scale of the work undertaken. Each wall is constructed, stone by stone. The artist combines ancient dry stone techniques with modern building code requirements.
Sculptures in the Stone River series include; Stone River #4 (sold) and two portable works; Stone River #7 Phoenix and cat (pictured) and Stone River #6 Death adder
Stone Rivers make the perfect landscape or architectural feature.
